GIKI and UET Lahore Signed MoU for Enhanced Academic and Research Collaboration
Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology (GIKI) and the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen collaboration in engineering, science, and technology. This agreement aims to foster joint research, academic exchanges, and collaborative training programs. Key areas of focus include Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Data Sciences, Blockchain, Cybersecurity, and Digital Twins. The institutions will also co-organize conferences, seminars, and workshops, and engage in joint research projects. Vice Chancellor UET Lahore Prof. Dr. Nasir Hayat, emphasized the MoU’s potential to drive innovation and address contemporary challenges. Rector GIKI, Prof. Dr. Fazal Ahmad Khalid, highlighted the opportunities for enhanced learning and research experiences for students and faculty and signed the documents in the presence of Deans of all faculties, Director External Linkages, Director KICS, Director Student Affairs, and Registrar UET Lahore.
